You see what we see: the pilot operates the drone from deck and sees the hull in real time.

The Falcon is a remotely operated underwater vehicle (ROV). It complements our divers: live video goes to the pilot's monitor and is recorded in high quality. Every inspection is recorded on video and attached to the report.

The vehicle is lightweight, about one metre long and rated to a depth of 300 m. Five powerful thrusters, station keeping, a customisable pilot display and vehicle diagnostics. It carries an ultrasonic thickness gauge to measure hull thickness and a hydraulic manipulator-grabber.

The vehicle is a Saab Seaeye Falcon, a professional remotely operated vehicle (ROV).

What the drone does for you

01

Hull and bottom survey

Live video of the hull on the pilot's monitor and high-quality recording.

02

Signs of tampering

Helps detect foreign objects, explosives and signs of tampering with the ship's structures.

03

Search for foreign objects

On-board lighting gives a detailed picture even at depth.

04

Station keeping

Holds position at the area of interest; depth and heading are kept automatically.

05

Where diving is difficult

Preliminary survey and hard-to-reach areas where sending a diver is difficult.

06

Together with divers

Combined with a diver inspection in one visit.

07

Hull thickness measurement

An ultrasonic thickness gauge measures the thickness of the hull and helps assess corrosion.

08

Hydraulic manipulator

The manipulator-grabber picks up and lifts objects underwater.

Frequently asked questions

Didn't find an answer? Give us a call — we'll explain in five minutes.

+7 (911) 312-49-49
How much does an inspection cost?

The price depends on the vessel's length, the port and the format (diver, drone or both). We quote individually — send a request and we'll get back with an offer.

Do you work with single vessels and small companies?

Yes. We do one-off inspections of a single vessel without a subscription — with the same care as for large fleet operators.

Which documents will I receive?

An inspection report and video in line with Russian Government Decree No. 1867 of 25.11.2025. We submit them to you and to the supervisory authorities.

How is a drone inspection different from a diver inspection?

The Falcon is a remotely operated vehicle: the pilot controls it from deck and sees the hull in real time. It complements our divers: it suits a preliminary survey and hard-to-reach areas where sending a diver is difficult. The drone and divers can be combined in one visit. The drone also measures hull thickness with an ultrasonic thickness gauge and can pick up and lift an object with its hydraulic manipulator-grabber.

How quickly can you arrive?

Our mobile teams are fully equipped and are dispatched to the port at short notice. The inspection itself takes no more than 3 hours from the moment of anchoring.
